Expect Angels

I have a very brief angel story that led me on my Angel journey.
It happened some 10 years ago, just after my wonderful son was diagnosed autistic and family and friends left in droves, many adding their very critical opinions as they went! I was in a horrible place emotionally and really felt very lost and alone, despite the best support from my small daughter (a remarkable natural healer!) and my husband.
I was lying awake in the middle of a dark night, terrified of the future, feeling as though there was no hope when very clearly a disembodied voice said, "Do not accept demons, expect Angels!" It totally freaked me out but I did ask who it was and I go the answer "Azriel" - I had no idea about Angels, no idea who this was, nothing - and I spent several more nights terrified it would happen again! However, with that clear message always in mind, I am now a Reiki Master, working a lot with crystals and always grateful for angelic support!
It has not been an easy journey and I still have to remind myself regularly to pay attention to the message I was given, but I will always be so grateful for such a timely, succinct and beautiful push in the right direction!
